Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools – Ward Elementary School Winston-Salem, NC Endwall Construction and Riprap Repair completed June 2013 Repaired riprap pad and channel at stormwater detention pond outlet. Designed and constructed new endwall structure at pipe outlet.

SelecTrucks of Greensboro Greensboro, NC Drainage Channel Excavation completed June 2013 Excavated new drainage ditch/swale, repaired associated slope damage, and installed proper erosion control measures to protect stormwater detention pond and reduce sedimentation.

Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools – Kimmel Farm Elementary School Winston-Salem, NC Biocell Maintenance and Repair completed June 2013 Repaired riprap inlet pads at two biocells, excavated and constructed riprap-lined swale, re-mulched both biocells, installed replacement wetland plantings, and provided proper erosion control measures to protect biocells.

Liberty Square Townhomes Greensboro, NC Detention Pond Inspection and Maintenance completed May 2013 Provided stormwater detention pond inspection services, written report, and submittal of findings. Conducted aquatic vegetation management, testing and operation of drain valve, and repair of water quality orifice.

The Village at Brookwood Burlington, NC Detention Pond Inspection completed March 2013 Provided stormwater detention pond inspection services, written report, and submittal of findings.

Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools Rural Hall, NC Stormwater Biocell Maintenance and Planting completed November 2012 Renovated existing stormwater biocell at Rural Hall Elementary School. Provided complete vegetation maintenance, planted 1,600 native grass and perennial flower plugs, constructed access steps, and installed appropriate erosion control measures.

Clayton Homes Greensboro, NC Detention Pond Investigation and Repair completed September 2012 Investigated, identified, and reported on the source of leaking from the riser/barrel and concrete footing structure of the stormwater detention pond. Developed options and cost estimates for repair. Completed cost-effective exploratory repair to prevent leaking using a combination of bentonite, hydraulic cement, and concrete patching.

The Harbor Subdivision Greensboro, NC Detention Pond Investigation and Consulting completed June 2012 Investigated, identified, and reported on the source of leaking from the riser/barrel structure of the stormwater detention pond. Developed options and cost estimates for repair. Repair to be completed in Spring/Summer 2013.

Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools Forsyth County, NC Detention Pond Vegetation Removal and Management completed May/June 2012 Cut, chipped, and chemically treated all trees and brush surrounding the perimeter of two stormwater detention ponds – Southeast Middle School and Ward Elementary School.

Allstate Truck Sales Colfax, NC Detention Pond Grading, Bentonite Liner, and Erosion Control completed October 2011 Re-graded existing stormwater detention pond, installed bentonite liner to fix leaking issues, re-constructed rip-rap baffle and inlet pads, and seeded and installed erosion control matting around pond perimeter. Final wetland and pond-shelf plantings installed and completed in Spring 2012.

Trinity Lake Guilford County, NC Drain Valve Investigation and Consulting completed March 2011 Uncovered the hidden and buried drain valve assembly for the high-hazard dam of this 13-acre lake. Investigated and reported on the operation and function of the drain valve.

Priba Furniture Greensboro, NC Site Grading, Drainage Improvement, and Erosion Control completed December 2010 Teamed with J.L. Sharp Construction to complete a block retaining wall, re-grade slopes and swales, correct drainage issues, and install appropriate sediment and erosion control measures. Utilized permanent turf reinforcement matting, temporary erosion control matting, and straw wattles to stabilize the disturbed areas, slopes, and swales.

Waterford Subdivision High Point, NC Investigation and Report of Detention Pond Volume and Sediment Accumulation completed September 2010 Collected current depth measurements along multiple transects in a 2.5-acre stormwater detention pond. Investigated and calculated the existing pond volume, storage capacity, and amount of sediment accumulation. Provided a report, supporting documentation, and a signed/sealed certification from a professional engineer to the property management firm, HOA Board, and City of High Point.

Trinity Lake Guilford County, NC Comprehensive Lake Management contract began June 2010 Providing lake and dam inspection services, consulting, routine maintenance, and general management of this 13-acre residential lake. Coordinating with the HOA to develop long-term goals and address management options for the lake – recreation, aquatic vegetation, fish, sediment, nuisance wildlife, trash and debris, etc.

John Deere Landscapes Guilford County, NC Earthen Dam Replacement and Pond Upgrades completed May 2010 Replaced leaking, poorly-maintained earthen dam for a 1.5-acre irrigation pond. Installed a stable, rip-rap inlet channel and emergency spillway. Re-graded pond perimeter and stabilized disturbed areas.
